Anyone know a tool that watches Reddit for mentions of your product?

I keep missing threads where people ask for exactly what we build, and by the time I find them the conversation is already dead.

We hit the same wall, so we started ranking threads by how clearly someone describes the problem rather than raw keyword volume — it surfaces the two or three worth answering instead of a firehose. Happy to share what finally worked if it helps.

Ask HN: how do you find your first users without spamming?

Cold outreach feels gross and my launch posts sink without a trace. Curious what actually worked for people here.

The thing that moved the needle for us was replying only where someone had already described the problem, in our own words, and linking nothing unless they asked. Slower, but the replies do not read as spam and people follow up.

Disclosure: I am working on something in this area.

Not a mockup — the same inbox you land in after signing up: ranked drafts, an intent score, and the disclosure line every mention carries.

Every draft that mentions your product carries a disclosure line you can't remove. No auto-posting, no fake accounts, no invented claims — drafts only say what your product facts say. That's not a limitation; it's why the replies keep working.

Questions

What counts as a read?

A read is one public post ReplyWell fetches from a source to score it for buying intent. Your plan's monthly read budget is how many posts we'll pull on your behalf — reads are the meter running underneath; the drafts you actually work with come from the handful worth answering.

What happens when I hit my plan's limit?

Nothing you have to manage. When your monthly read budget is used up, polling simply pauses until your next cycle — no new reads, no new charges. There are no overage fees, ever; you are never billed more than your plan's price.

Why can't the disclosure be turned off?

Any draft that names or links your product is generated with a fixed disclosure line, and our honesty check rejects a product-mention draft that is missing it — so ReplyWell never hands you a covert, undisclosed promo. You post manually, so the final words are always yours, but the disclosed relationship is the default we won't remove.

Will a bot ever post for me?

Never. ReplyWell only drafts. You read the ranked thread, copy the reply, and post it yourself from your own account — there is no auto-posting and no connection that could ever post on your behalf.

When do the paid plans open?

Not yet. Paid checkout stays off until our own engine publicly clears its proof gate, so Starter and Pro currently show a waitlist rather than a charge. The Free plan is fully live today.

Where is my data processed?

In the EU. ReplyWell is hosted in Frankfurt and your data is stored in the EU (Supabase, eu-west-1). Drafting runs through DeepSeek today, with EU-Mistral when enabled — the full processor list is in our Datenschutz.
